H1-B Employment Visa

The H1-B non-immigrant visa allows temporary employment in the United States for foreign nationals, who do not otherwise have work authorization to enter the U.S. Each year, there are only a certain number of H1-B visas that are available to individuals seeking first-time granting of an H1-B. These individuals must have at least a bachelor's degree to qualify. Additional H1-B visas may be available to employees possessing a U.S. master's degree, or higher degree. We can assist individuals and businesses in pursuing H1-B visas. After the cap on H1-B visas has been reached, they will not be available until the following year.

Other Business-Related Visas

There are many other different types of business and employment visas that may need to be obtained for your employees, including:

  • H2-B Visa (temporary workers)
  • L-1 Professional Visa (intracompany transfer)
  • B-1 Visa (visitor visa for domestic employees)
  • B Visa (temporary visitor)
  • O (foreign workers with extraordinary ability)
  • E-1/E-2 (treaty traders and treaty investors)

We also assist employers who wish to sponsor foreign nationals for permanent residence. We counsel such clients on the application process for Alien Labor Certifications (PERM), and help them find ways to avoid the labor certification process to obtain permanent residence (green card) for their foreign national employees.

Throughout the entirety of your case, our attorneys will keep you and/or your business' best interests in mind.
